Get it back sim‑ready.

Photos, SLAM maps, floor plans or CAD in. A simulation-ready world out — USD, URDF or MJCF with metric scale, collision, physics and materials.

No new platform to learn: the files open in the simulator you already use — Isaac Sim, MuJoCo or Gazebo. An engineer checks every delivery.

The gap

A scan is only a picture.

A photoreal splat or point cloud looks right, but a simulator can’t use it. Teams lose weeks re-modelling rooms by hand before the first test even runs.

  • ✕

    No surfaces

Splats and point clouds have no solid floor or walls to drive on.

  • ✕

    No objects

A chair is a cloud of points, not a part you can move or grab.

  • ✕

    No collisions

Planners and physics have nothing to avoid or push against.

  • ✓

    We add all three

Named parts, collision and physics — measured in your coordinates.

YOU GET

A sim-ready package

USD / USDZURDFMJCFSDFGLB

  • Metric scale, aligned to your map or robot frame
  • Separate, named parts you can script
  • Collision geometry ready for planners
  • Joints and articulation where you need them — robots, vehicles, doors
  • Mass and friction defaults, documented
  • PBR materials from your real surfaces
  • Lights placed where yours are

Proof

Measured on our own runs.

These are internal Steerix lab demos, built by our own team — not customer results. We show the numbers so you know what we measure.

CASE 01 · PHONE PHOTOS → SIM

A mall floor and an office, from photos alone

We started from 154 existing phone photos — no scanner, no site visit. Heights and positions were triangulated across photos. Every wall, shopfront and piece of furniture is a real 3D asset, not a photo on a panel.

Doors and drawers run on physics joints. A mobile robot opens the fridge, takes out a bottle and sets it on a desk using contact and friction alone.

SAME CAMERA · SAME POSE

Photo vs twin

Each twin view is rendered from the exact pose and field of view of a real photo, so you can check it line by line. Drag to compare.

CASE 02 · PHOTOS → ASSET

Office robot cell

Two robot arms scanned the room with their wrist cameras. We rebuilt it as a Gaussian splat, then as CAD parts placed in the robots’ own frame — with textures, lights and collision.

CASE 03 · SLAM MAP + FLOOR PLAN → TWIN

Warehouse forklift twin

We aligned the AMR’s own map to the building floor plan, then checked the twin against the real forklift’s camera at the same pose. The vehicle model came from one parameter file.

    FAQ

    Questions teams ask first.

    Is my data safe?

Files go to private cloud storage that only our team can open. We use them only for your conversion and won’t show or reuse them without your written permission. Want an NDA first? Email admin@steerix.ai before uploading.

    What does “sim-ready” mean?

It loads in your simulator at real scale, with separate named parts, collision shapes, physical defaults and materials — so robots can drive, plan and collide in it, not just look at it.

How do you make it — software or by hand?

Both. Our conversion pipeline does the heavy lifting — reconstruction, splitting into parts, collision, physics defaults and export — and an engineer checks every delivery before it reaches you.

    Which simulators do you support?

We deliver USD (Isaac Sim / Omniverse), MJCF (MuJoCo), URDF / SDF (ROS, Gazebo) and GLB (Unity, Unreal, web). Tell us your setup and we’ll match it.

    How big can files be?

Up to 500 MB per file on this page. For larger data — long rosbags, full-site scans — paste a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link.

Do doors and drawers actually open?

Where you need them, yes. In our mall demo, 431 hinges and slides — fridge, oven, drawers, cabinets, shop doors — run on motors and contact in the physics engine, and a robot opens the fridge by pulling its handle. Tell us which parts must move.

Do you need to visit the site?

No. Our mall demo was built from 154 existing phone photos: we measured heights and positions by triangulating the same points across several photos. A floor plan or a few tape measurements make it tighter.

What if my data is incomplete?

Send what you have. Within 24 hours we’ll tell you what’s missing — often a few extra photos or a floor plan is enough.

What does it cost after the pilot?

It depends on size and detail. After the free sample we send a fixed quote per space or asset, so there are no surprises.
